Altar Servers
An Altar Server is a lay assistant to a member of the clergy during Mass. Serving the Altar is a beautiful ministry that adds dignity and grace to the liturgy and allows the priest to be more attentive to preaching and prayer. Children, young adults, couples, families, retirees, widows and widowers all can serve and do it beautifully.
Who: Boys and girls who have received First Holy Communion are welcome to serve after they have attended the necessary training. Being an Altar server is a privilege and should be conducted at all times with great reverence.
