Annulment
‘each looking out not for his own interests, but also everyone for those of others.’ Philippians 2:4
An annulment is a declaration by a Church tribunal (a Catholic church court) that a marriage thought to be valid according to Church law actually fell short of at least one of the essential elements required for a binding union.
Annulment Sponsors are parishioners who have experienced the Church annulment process and who volunteer to support others going through the process. Case sponsors are trained by the Archdiocese of Atlanta and are bound by an oath of strict confidentiality.
