Welcome to St. Francis of Assisi Faith Formation
We are proud to offer programs for the whole family, starting in Kindergarten and going into adulthood.
Our mission is to support the family and especially parents, as they are the first and primary catechist to their children.
St Francis has numerous Adult Education opportunities, which will appeal to everyone.
Congratulations and Thank you to the Faith Formation Families - 23 Back Packs full of School Supplies were donated to Catholic Charities for newly arrived refugee children.
Once again our Faith Formation families answered the call for Catholic Charities of Atlanta - this Lent we created over 40 Easter Baskets for families and refugess they serve.
St Francis of Assisi Sacramental Programs are TWO year Programs
Children wishing to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion, ideally will attend Faith Formation during their FIRST and SECOND grade. If your child is older, he or she will still need to complete TWO years of Faith Formation to be eligible for these sacraments.
Likewise teenagers wishing to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, ideally will attend Faith Formation during their NINTH and TENTH grade. If your teenager is older, he or she will still need to complete TWO years of Faith Formation to be eligible for this sacrament.
Faith Formation registration is open. Registration fees will increase on August 1st, so please register as soon as possible to save on fees.
Los programas sacramentales de San Francisco de Asís son programas de DOS años
Los niños que deseen recibir los sacramentos de la Reconciliación y la Sagrada Comunión, idealmente asistirán a la Formación en la Fe durante su PRIMER y SEGUNDO grado. Si su hijo es mayor, aún deberá completar DOS años de Formación en la Fe para ser elegible para estos sacramentos.

St Francis of Assisi (SFA) Faith Formation Programs
This year SFA will be offering Faith Formation programs for children in Kindergarten through teenagers in High School. There is something for every age. We are introducing a new Middle School program and adapting our High School program. All of these sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings, please see the current year schedule for the dates and times for these grade levels.
For High School students, CYO is returning monthly on Sunday evenings. We encourage all High School students, both those preparing for Confirmation and those who have already received Confirmation to attend these evenings for fun, faith and fellowship.
Programas de formación en la fe de San Francisco de Asís (SFA)
Este año, SFA ofrecerá programas de formación en la fe para niños desde jardín de infantes hasta adolescentes en la escuela secundaria. Hay algo para todas las edades. Estamos introduciendo un nuevo programa de escuela intermedia y adaptando nuestro programa de escuela secundaria. Todas estas sesiones se llevarán a cabo los miércoles por la noche, consulte el calendario del año actual para conocer las fechas y horas para estos niveles de grado.
Para los estudiantes de secundaria, CYO regresa mensualmente los domingos por la noche. Alentamos a todos los estudiantes de secundaria, tanto a los que se preparan para la Confirmación como a los que ya han recibido la Confirmación, a que asistan a estas noches para divertirse, tener fe y compañerismo.
